The Old Gray Lady, Now in Living Color!
The New York Times is synonymous with journalism. It is also closely associated with black-and-white print and pulp paper due to its roots.
However, like a butterfly emerging from a cocoon, the NY Times is shedding its old paper skin - becoming a much more digital specimen.
You can now take in its news articles as short movies on the web, over at New York Times Video.
It still feels very much like an article - in fact, the subsite is organized as channels broken down into the same topic names you see as section names in the NYT or any other printed newspaper.
So if you hate reading the news but like watching it, or want to enjoy it while sitting with your laptop at an Internet cafe, now you can do it.
And you do not have to give up The Old Gray Lady or the familiar way that newspapers are organized to do it.
